I started Twigs & Wool to give myself an opportunity to be the boss.
After graduating college and getting a "big girl" job (which I love), I knew that it was just the right time to jump in and do something hands on where I was calling the shots.
The fact of the matter is, no matter what, I will knit. Fun fact: I was once written up at a part time job for knitting. Seriously, that's a wake up call that you might have a problem. That's also when you realize if you don't start an Etsy shop soon, your home will be nothing more than a glorified yarn basket of grand proportions.
For every single piece, I put the love and care into it that I would if it were for my oldest friend or for my own home. To me, there is no greater satisfaction (as an artist, at least, because an unlimited supply of fresh donuts is the ideal situation in which to smile) than to finish a project and sit it down and think to myself, "Hell yeah, I'd buy this thing." Um, #winning? I certainly think so.
And, so dear digital window shoppers, that is why Twigs & Wool must exist.
Thanks for stopping by!
